Marissa Dungan

I am a sex therapist who focuses on couples, sexuality, and family systems, helping couples and families navigate relational dynamics. I also work with individuals from a systemic perspective. I work with couples to create and strengthen their shared language, as well as develop new vocabulary and communication skills. My training includes working with issues related to desire, intimacy, infidelity, conflict management, and parenting. I support couples in establishing relational agreements, processing unresolved trauma, and navigating neurodiversity and mental health together. I have experience working with interracial, interfaith, and multicultural families. Additionally, I work with families to address topics such as adoption, mental health, queerness, and disability. I have experience working with gay men, heterosexual couples, lesbian couples, and queer couples, as well as those in monogamous, swinging, and non-monogamous relationships. I also offer weekend intensives for partners looking to strengthen their connection, rebuild trust after an affair, or navigate a recent crisis together. My office is located in Roslindale, MA. I offer in-person and virtual appointments. My office is located on the first floor, up a set of six stairs. It is not wheelchair accessible.
