Marissa Dungan

Focusing her practice on couples, sexuality, and family systems, Marissa works with couples and families navigating relational dynamics. Marissa has worked with couples to rebuild trust and create new relational agreements. Marissa has experience working with interracial, interfaith, and multicultural families. Marissa is trained in the developmental model of couples therapy via South Shore Sexual Health Center. Her training includes working with desire, intimacy, infidelity conflict management, and parenting. Marissa has experience working with straight, gay, monogamous, swinger, non-monogamous, and kinky relationships. She supports couples in creating relational agreements, processing unresolved trauma, and navigating neuro-diversity and mental health together. Marissa has a background working with families of queer/ trans people. Marissa currently offers 50, 75, and 90 minutes as well as weekend intensives. Couples looking to stabilize after an affair or address a recent crisis may be interested in a weekend intensive. Intensives can jumpstart the long-term treatment process or serve as a space for short-term work.
